About Proformative
A place for corporate finance, accounting and treasury professionals
Proformative is a free, open and independent community of corporate finance, accounting, treasury and related professionals interested in asking questions, sharing knowledge and resources, and getting work done. Proformative users come from all types of companies; big and small, public and private, domestic and international. What we have in common is the desire to do the best work we can for ourselves, our teams, companies, shareholders, owners, and other stakeholders. Proformative provides a common ground on which to meet, communicate, and help one another with the day-to-day issues involved in the highly complex and technical worlds we work in.
A free and open community
Proformative is a free and open community. This means that any corporate finance, accounting, treasury or related functional professional may join and participate without fees or other barriers to entry. As a member you can take full advantage of the resources available at Proformative.com. Those resources start with people like you — the community. This is an incredible resource, rich with experience and know-how. You and the other members of the Proformative community can create any number of discussions and groups. These groups and their discussions can be public or private, listed or unlisted, open or invite-only. For example, you can throw an open question on SEC reporting out to a large public group to get the greatest audience participation and variety of viewpoints, or you can have a small, private discussion with a group of professional acquaintances in a highly secure environment. Either way, you are part of a massive community which is always available to you.

The Jobs area is where you go to see listings from companies that know Proformative is the premier location for finance and accounting talent. You can also discuss the job market, the economy and other employment-related topics with the community in the Jobs area. The Providers area is where you go to find product and service providers offering the products and services you need to run your business. You can freely use any of the tools, spreadsheets, process documents, etc., that are available in the Resources area. These community-contributed documents will help you get projects up and running quickly, saving you precious time and money. As a member of the Proformative community, you are encouraged to add new resources that you believe will benefit your peers. The Blogs at Proformative are written only by our members, experienced finance and accounting professionals, so they are always filled with high quality information and practical insight. Lastly, the Events calendar is where you can find out what is going on in your area. Like everything else on Proformative, these events are focused on you and your interests.
