To be succinct in my message:
1. People (P)- Having, understanding, and managing the dynamics among your colleagues ( a 360 view, those below you in the org chart, parallel, and above you) removes many inherent barriers to success
2. Process (P)- Without a solid process success is not sustainable and in many cases not scalable. I always error towards too much structure as without it establishing accountability can be difficult
3. Technology (T)- Leveraging technology to allow you and those around you to be more strategic is key and always looking for ways to allow colleagues to focus on what they do best (and what they want to achieve in their careers) provides a solid foundation for career success
If you are getting "lost" in a project or your career direction, it may help to take a step back and frame your issues in terms of people, process, and technology. The proper mix of these ingredients can help put you back on the path to achieving your goals.
