Be clear and concise. A top quality CFO Dimensions Award submission is all about stating the business case for the nomination, and specifically why it fits into the designated category as plainly as possible. Describe the problem, the solution, the relevant goals, and how there were achieved. The submissions also need to fall within the recommended word count with is 1000 words in describing “The business case for your nomination, why your submission win”. The entries are being reviewed by a panel of volunteer judges so being as clear and concise as possible in your submission greatly helps the efficiency of the judging process and gets your submission the attention it deserves from the judges.

Articulate the impact across your company and relevant departments. Explain how your submission made a difference and what makes it meaningful and relevant to finance, accounting, treasury and related professionals. Why is your submission better than any others that will be submitted in your designated category?

No attachments. Only use the online form found on the CFO Dimensions Website—no additional forms, PowerPoint presentations or follow-up phone calls to expand on your entry.

No turnkey solutions, please. A turnkey solution is an “out of the box” product or service implemented with little to no customization internally to the company or from the provider. What makes your solution unique and right for your company? If technology is the thrust of your solution then why did you choose this particular path and how did you customize it?

Highlight your innovation and the impact your initiative has had across your organization and to the organizations’ bottom line.
