I am looking for benchmark data for consulting companies. Am mainly interested in two areas - utilization rates and pricing. For pricing - what rules of thumb have people used to price contracts to clients?

I notice there wasn't much (any) response to your post. Were you able to find out any data? A quick search on the website on "Utilization Rates" brought this post to light. I too am looking for some data on a services business. We provide different types of marketing services, including strategy and consulting. Looking for some benchmark data.
