Quickbooks 2010 Bug?

Posted Thu, 09/02/2010 - 10:01am by Mark Von Der Linn (Principal)
Details
One of my clients upgraded recently to Quickbooks 2010 Professional Services. When you "Receive Payments", if you post a check to an invoice for a certain Job, but you select only the "Client" rather than "Client: Job", the payment will not show up for that Job in reports or anything else (even though it's a paid invoice for that Job). Anyone else come across this? Intuit rep suggested submitting the issue as an "enhancement" request, noting that he has heard about it from other customers. To me this is a bug and I submitted it that way.
