Mark Peek, Workday's chief financial officer, brings extensive industry experience to his role overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations. Prior to joining Workday in June 2012, Mark served as chief financial officer and co-president at VMware, a global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure. During his five years at VMware, Mark helped to build the company's finance and business operations infrastructure to scale to support the nearly $5 billion enterprise software company. From 2000 to 2007, Mark was senior vice president and chief accounting officer at Amazon.com. Mark also spent 10 years as an audit partner at Deloitte, where he focused on technology companies and multinational project and engagement management. Mark has served on the board of directors for Trimble Navigation since 2010. Mark graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration from Minnesota State University.

Laurie Wood is Product Marketing Director for Workday and has more than 20 years of product marketing experience. Her previous experience includes product marketing at diverse companies including Intacct Corporation, Intuit, Palm Computing, and Siemens Communications. Laurie received her BA in business administration from Western Michigan University.
John has been CFO at four technology companies, a finance executive at Cardinal Health, and in multiple roles at AlliedSignal and Cisco Systems. John has raised over $100M in equity capital and debt and has played central roles in numerous buy and sell-side transactions for both public and private companies. As COO at two companies, John also ran Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service operations. He has also founded, invested in and been a board member or advisor of a number of companies. John has a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
