 Moving From the C Suite to Your First (or Second) Board Seat. With corporate boards moving through turbulent times, changing their structure and operations, and evolving their approaches to governance, little attention has been given to the perspective of potential board candidates. In today's climate, how do executives interested in board service move towards a seat at the table? This session focuses on how executives land a seat on the board of a private or public company, and how they make themselves known to and how they present themselves to search committees. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to learn from the panel members what questions they considered in determining if they should accept a board seat.
