If we sell software, professional services to implement it, and computers to run the software on, we segregate the software and account for it under SOP 97-2, and the Professional Services and hardware under EITF 08-1?

Does anyone have a whitepaper or good guide to EITF 08-1 (ASU 2010-17) regarding the Milestone Method? The ASU is short without any examples. Also, does anyone have experience with the Milestone Method in combination with the Relative Selling Price Method of EITF 08-1?
