Global SaaS Accounting Vendor References
| Jan 13, 2011
I am assisting a client evaluate NetSuite's OneWorld and IntAcct, with a view to implementing their core accounting solution worldwide (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, all with foreign currency, corporate chart of accounts, intercompany). Although the client is a rapidly growing midsized entity ($0.5+ billion revenues and growing), many of the 40+ overseas locations are small offices and the core back office needs are not complex. US GAAP based consolidation is currently handled in a separate solution which will eventually receive data feeds from the chosen Accounting solution.
If you/your company is around $150mm in global revenues (or more) and has implemented any one of these solutions recently, please let me know if you would be prepared to share your experiences with me and the client’s CAO and Global Controller in the near future. I envisage a 20-30 minute conversation covering topics like functionality, speed to deploy, quality of vendor staff, service levels, local country capability for AP payments, language, statutory reporting and VAT.

NetSuite is great because it gives all of our employees all over the world instant access to our customers activity, their own individual activity and the activities of fellow workers.
The easy to use reporting system has flexiblity for each employee to create custom reports and searches without waiting for others to get them the information they need any time, anywhere.
The OneWorld version allow us to work with multiple subsidiaries and currencies and consolidates automatically versus consolidating spreadsheets or having to use a separate consolidating and reporting package
