I'm Looking for an Inventory Management Solution that Integrates with QuickBooks. Any Suggestions?
Cory Brown (CEO, TCB, LLC)
| Sep 5, 2011I'm looking for a solid, cost effective inventory management solution that integrates well with Quickbooks. I've seen fishbowl, and many of the others listed on the QB partners site, but I'm wondering if anyone has any real world experience with any of the solutions. The main thing I'm needing is multiple locations, lot-based stocking, and flexible picking management.
Thank you in advance!

Cory,
Advanced Inventory is a new feature in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 11.0 and includes multi-location inventory tracking. Advanced Inventory works right in QuickBooks with the same user interface. There's no need for separate software or data integration.
Additional subcription fees apply and you must have QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 11.0 and an active Full Service Plan in order to use Advanced Inventory. If you're already using QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 11.0, there's no new software to install so you can start using Advanced Inventory immediately after purchase.
Go to the following url where you can find out more detailed information for Enterprise 11.0 http://enterprisesuite.intuit.com/products/enterprise-solutions/?qbes_info-b=features&qbes_features-b=inventory#multiple_locations.

I am the VP of Partner Relations here at Fishbowl. I can't answer to what the other software here listed can do but all of what you mentioned are handled well by Fishbowl. If you want to talk with an end user who is using Fishbowl in a similar fashion we can certainly get you in touch with them but we would need some more information about the type and size of your company so that we can best match your needs up with a specific reference. Feel free to email me at grant [dot] kimball

There are several that I've worked with.. each has its good things and quirks
1. Acctivate! (the favorite of my clients)
2. AllOrders by Numbercruncher
3. Fishbowl
4. QBES advanced inventory
