Ask the Experts provides members direct access to subject matter experts to ask questions, learn and get work done.
Guidelines
- Questions must be relevant to the chosen category
- Your question must be "answerable" and not just "discussed." You can use the discussion tab to post a discussion topic.
- The nature of the question should be answerable in a reasonably brief period of time
- The more reasonable you make your question, the more likely it will be answered and answered quickly.
- An expert will answer the question, but you should use your own judgment and counsel when using the answer.
- The “Experts” reserve the right to not answer any questions submitted for any reason.
- We will remove any questions that do not meet the guidelines or site policies
Tips
- Take the time to identify the best category
- Be specific and concise in your inquiry
- Ask questions that can be answered
- Don’t set unrealistic expectations for the response to your question
- You can choose to make yourself anonymous, so that your name does not appear with the question
- Remember, that after your question is answered, that it might result in further conversions under that question (or directly by the expert, if you want)

How do I ask a question?
You must be a member of Proformative. Choose the category, accept the terms and conditions, then enter and submit your question
Are my questions private or shared with all Proformative members?
Questions and answers are shared with all site users. You can, if you choose, ask a question anonymously.
I have an opinion on a question or answer...
Great! If you are member, then you can comment on that question or answer at the bottom of that page.
How soon quickly should I expect an answer?
The “Experts” are busy working folks like you. Please allow for 48 business hours for a response. An answer may take longer than that and we encourage the “Experts” to notify an “Asker” if they expect their response to take longer.
How will I know my question is answered?
The system will inform you via email when your question is answered. You might want to visit your question often after it is answered to see any new answers or discussions about it.
How can I ask a question to a specific Expert?
You can only ask questions in a specific category. Chances are that the expert you want to answer it will either answer it directly or comment on the question later. You may contact the experts directly.
How do I directly communicate with an expert?
Visit their expert page and click on "send a private message". You can only send private messages if you are a member of Proformative.
How do I become an expert?
Well, first we would say, "study, practice, and work in that field for a while", then you can look at our page on how to become an expert on Proformative
