What is the best way to consolidate multiple entities that use Quickbooks as their GL? I do use excel now, and its very cumbersome.

Hello Emmanuel. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with QuickBooks. I recommend that you post your question to the broader Proformative group and/or post a comment on the close and reporting section - there is a group of about 15 in that area - perhaps one might have some ideas for you.

If you're looking for a great utility to help combining multiple QB data files for reporting, etc, you should look at the "report combiner" from Q2Q.us
These guys have the best QuickBooks tools and utilities around - I'd highly recommend them. http://www.q2q.us/
