Webinar Video - SAS70: Making the Transition to SSAE 16 (and SOC 1, 2, and 3)

Kurt Morrow's Profile

This video is from Proformative's webinar "SAS70: Making the Transition to SSAE 16 (and SOC 1, 2, and 3)" held on April 20, 2011.

SAS 70 has long been the auditing standard by which service providers are measured with regards to their processes and procedures, controls and safeguards. Many companies have relied on SAS 70 to ensure that their processes are rigorous, appropriate, and properly implemented, and many clients depend on SAS 70 reports to make buying decisions and to vet technology and service providers.

This event will provide an overview of why companies use or might want to use these standards for their own companies and why you might want service providers to be held to such standards. We will review SAS 70 itself and then dive in to the new standards of SOC 1, 2, and 3, as well as the international standard ISAE 34-02. We will also address implementation considerations for those thinking about adoption of the new standards.
