Applying Automation to Streamline Your Financial Close

Date: Wednesday, August 26, 2015
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
With every close cycle, finance teams dedicate time to completing the same tedious, manual tasks. The good news is that these tasks -- reconciliations, linking transactions with supporting documentation, communicating the status of the close, etc. -- are precisely the processes that organizations can perform more efficiently and accurately with automation.

This time would be better spent devoted to forward-looking strategic efforts such as planning and optimizing the close process.

In this webinar, hear from the Controller of a publicly traded company and from a former “Big-4” auditor and ipo-ing finance leader about how to:
  • Reduce close time and improve the accuracy of the information your finance team is reporting
  • Simplify and automate documentation dissemination both internally and to auditors
  • Improve collaboration and achieve greater transparency throughout the close cycle
  • Redirect your finance team's focus to forward-looking strategic planning and forecasting

You will come away from this event with great ideas for transforming your close from a tedious waste of time, to a quick, accurate competitive weapon.
After attending this event you will be able to:
Recognize how to reduce close time
Identify ways to improve the accuracy of the information your finance team is reporting
List strategies to simplify and automate documentation dissemination both internally and to auditors
Recognize how to improve collaboration and achieve greater transparency throughout the close cycle
