Andrew focuses his practice on issues affecting business growth for companies at all stages, including developing strategies to leverage intellectual property and technology assets, as well as international corporate transnational and franchising matters. He has served as a legal and strategic advisor to dozens of Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of emerging growth companies.

Andrew has written 24 books on the legal and strategic aspects of business growth, franchising, capital formation, and the leveraging of intellectual property. He also has published many articles on similar topics and is a frequent keynote speaker at business conferences, seminars, and webinars. He has appeared as a guest commentator on CNN, NPR, and CBS News Radio, among others, and has been interviewed on legal topics by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, and other publications. Andrew serves as an adjunct professor in the M.B.A. programs at the University of Maryland and as well as the law school at Georgetown University and is a multiple recipient of the University of Maryland at College Park's Krowe Excellence in Teaching Award.

David has over twenty five years of well-rounded experience in the office interiors world including: developing client relationships, setting vision and strategy for the company, directing all aspects of the business including sales and business development, all client support services, financial aspects and direct oversight for complex project activities.

David spent ten years in public accounting holding positions in several firms as Manager until he left public accounting to become the CFO at several contracting firms. He joined MOI in 1992 as Controller and during this period helped manage company significant growth as the company grew from 35 employees and $10 million dollars in annual revenue to in excess of $120 million in revenue and over 150 employees with a national reach. David has helped negotiate several acquisitions and led the effort to facilitate the company becoming 100% employee owned.

David graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park.

David is currently the President of National Independent Contract Dealers Council, an industry group facilitating change and improvements in business practices for the industry. Additionally, he has served as a Board Member of the Semi Colon Club, a foundation to support Colon Cancer and has worked with the Career Service Council for The Associated Jewish Charities of Greater Baltimore. He has lobbied on Capitol Hill as a board member of the OFDA representing the commercial furniture industry and how it can benefit government purchasing. He also has lectured at the University of Maryland for the Executive MBA program.

He resides in Lutherville, Maryland with his wife, Carol. They have 2 grown children, Rebecca and Sam.
