The CFO’s Role Within Corporate Transactions: Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture, and Carve Out

Date: Thursday, October 8, 2015
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
M&A transaction volumes have been recovering strongly over the past 18-24 months. Corporates, VCs and PE firms are evaluating their portfolios from both an offensive and defensive perspective. CFOs play a key role in these portfolio evaluations, as well as in the shaping and execution of the eventual transactions. Successful CFOs balance the need for speed with risk management, the need to control transactions costs, management of complex programs and the ultimate objective to realize the expected value of the transaction.

In this webinar, we will discuss the competing factors that CFOs and their organizations must balance as they structure and execute M&A transactions. We will also discuss approaches and lessons learned for common transactions types, as well as ideas for value creation and acceleration.
After attending this event you will be able to:
Recognize M&A transactions trends
Identify key lessons learned from M&A experiences
Recognize enabling technologies and ideas for value acceleration
