CFO as the Strategic Leader

Date: Tuesday, December 1, 2015
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
CEOs are more often turning to their CFOs for strategic leadership. The CFO is ideally situated in most organizations to bring a cross-functional and data insight driven perspective that few others can provide.

In this webinar, Blair Cook, a many-time CFO, will discuss strategic management and the roles CFOs are playing in strategic leadership. We look at a strategic management framework that the CFO can use to formalize strategy development and execution in any organization. The goal will be to give participants a structured way of thinking about corporate strategy and a framework participants can use to evaluate their own organization’s approach to strategy. You will also see a demonstration of how Microsoft Dynamics AX – Business Intelligence can help financial leaders when developing organization strategy.
After attending this event you will be able to:
Identify the strategic roles played the CFO in setting and executing strategy
Facilitate the development and implementation of strategy at your organization
Identify how to play an important and leadership role in strategic planning and management of your organization
