Eliminating the Risks of Spreadsheets Within Financial Processes

Date: Tuesday, May 5, 2015
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
Spreadsheets can be a valuable tool for financial professionals, but an over reliance on spreadsheets can lead to considerable inefficiencies that impact operations and, potentially, inhibit company growth. Also, the error-prone nature of spreadsheets is magnified in collaborative, repetitive business processes such as budgeting, sales and operational planning and compensation management.

Join us to hear the latest findings from Robert Kugel, SVP and research director with Ventana Research, on the risks of relying on spreadsheets. Learn how to move your finance team beyond spreadsheets to an integrated system for core finance processes so that your team can focus on higher-level strategic activities. You’ll gain a clear understanding of the limitations that spreadsheets impose and discover the specific value proposition for moving to an integrated financial system.
After attending this event you will be able to:
Gain a clear understanding of the appropriate uses of spreadsheets
Identify how an integrated financial system expedites your revenue recognition and quarterly processes and streamlines time and expense management
Recognize the quantifiable cost savings, and payback, of replacing outdated spreadsheets with an integrated financial system
