How Leaders Use Benchmarks and Best Practices to Transform Finance

Date: Thursday, August 22, 2013
Time: 4:30 pm - 4:30 pm EDT There are no CPE Credits for this Solution Demonstration.
CFO Dimensions 2013 | Leadership Track | Session 3 - At many organizations, the CFO's role has evolved well beyond traditional stewardship duties. CFOs are now expected to play a central role in crafting strategy and creating value for investors and other key stakeholders. This requires that the finance organization as a whole transform itself into a more efficient and more effective partner to the business. The point: winners don?t rest on their laurels once they've reduced finance costs and streamlined workflows. They innovate in their analytical support. They don't just ask 'what needs fixing?' or 'How can we reduce operating costs?' They ask 'What can we do to influence the drivers of revenue growth' Mary Driscoll, senior research director at APQC, will explain from case study research how the top-quartile organizations deploy technology, organizational structure, etc. to get into the winner's circle.
