Defending your revenue is frequently the most time-intensive and complex part of any financial audit. And for good reason it gets the most scrutiny from audit committees and the executive team. Revenue comes in from and touches multiple areas of an organization and it all needs to be effectively managed, tracked, and reported. To have a successful revenue audit you need good processes, documentation, and tracking of transactions, as well as the right controls and tools in place - to keep your auditors happy.

Join Doug Thompson, Revenue Director of Castlight Health, and Shaun de Lacy, Director of Global Finance Systems at INTO University Partnerships, as they discuss how to survive a revenue audit. They will share insights from their years of managing revenue audits and systems, including what you should do throughout the year, how to best prepare for the audit itself and the best systems/tools to utilize to improve auditability and visibility of revenue information.

After attending this webinar you will be able to:
  • Build a robust revenue recognition policy
  • Talk to your auditors about rev rec issues
  • Create key reports for validation of recognized revenue
  • Evaluate tools and technology for revenue tracking
