Andrew focuses his practice on issues affecting business growth for companies at all stages, including developing strategies to leverage intellectual property and technology assets, as well as international corporate transactional and franchising matters. He has served as a legal and strategic advisor to dozens of Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of emerging growth companies.

Andrew has written 24 books on the legal and strategic aspects of business growth, franchising, capital formation, and the leveraging of intellectual property. He also has published many articles on similar topics and is a frequent keynote speaker at business conferences, seminars, and webinars. He has appeared as a guest commentator on CNN, NPR, and CBS News Radio, among others, and has been interviewed on legal topics by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, and other publications. Andrew serves as an adjunct professor in the M.B.A. programs at the University of Maryland and as well as the law school at Georgetown University and is a multiple recipient of the University of Maryland at College Park's Krowe Excellence in Teaching Award.

David has over twenty three years of industry experience spanning from operations management, to design and home improvement. Prior to MOI, David spent ten years with Aronson & Company, a public accounting firm in Bethesda, as a Manager until 1989 when he accepted the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at The Polar Group, a home improvement contracting firm. He joined MOI in 1992 as Controller and during this period helped grow the business at a rate of over 25% a year, from 35 employees and $10 million dollars in annual revenue to over 140 employees and in excess of $100 million in annual revenue. David helped negotiate several acquisitions of competing firms. David graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1983 and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

John has been CFO at four technology companies, a finance executive at Cardinal Health, and in multiple roles at AlliedSignal and Cisco Systems. John has raised over $100M in equity capital and debt and has played central roles in numerous buy and sell-side transactions for both public and private companies. As COO at two companies, John also ran Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service operations. He has also founded, invested in and been a board member or advisor of a number of companies. John has a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
