Leveraging Automation to Make the Controller’s Job Easier

Date: Thursday, March 29, 2018
Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT
In today’s dynamic business culture, the financial controller's role continues to evolve. Accounting is no longer a back-office function. It is a critical component in enabling organizations to empower business managers with the data they need for sound decision-making.

Today’s financial controller must be prepared to embrace new and innovative methods that add value and insight into the business. This includes adapting to holistic approaches that combine technology, people, process, and strategy to bring timely and accurate information to the organization. This approach is applicable regardless of the size of an organization or accounting team and relevant to all industries whether public, private, or non-profit.
This session will cover how forward-thinking controllers are helping to reinvent business processes for modern finance teams. During this webinar, we will:
Discuss important strategies for building a model that contributes to your organization’s success.
Explore the future of the accounting process considering rapid change and technology advancement.
Identify challenges inherent in moving from legacy systems to what’s known as continuous accounting.
Examine how to make incremental improvements that help to transform your organization from the bottom up.
