Reducing Financial Close Time

Date: Wednesday, December 16, 2015
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
A faster month-end closing is the dream of all members of accounting teams, financial managers, controllers, CFOs, and CEOs. With back office accounting teams being downsized more and more, the closing process has traditionally become a slow one, relying on the manual capture of unstructured data in spreadsheets, multiple disparate systems, and/or outdated systems with data models that are no longer maximized to fit the organization’s reporting needs.

This webinar will cover:
  • Perspectives to achieve a faster close process, including moving towards methods and processes that provide greater effectiveness and efficiencies in the delivery of accounting and financial data
  • Automation and stratification opportunities for common period end activities
  • Improved outcomes including enhanced coordination between operation and accounting teams, better data consistency, and increased adherence to corporate policies and standards
After attending this event you will be able to:

Recognize automation and stratification opportunities for common period end activities
Understand improved outcomes including enhanced coordination between operation and accounting teams, better data consistency, and increased adherence to corporate policies and standards
