The new revenue recognition rules go into effect in January 2018 (2019 for private firms). And they will trigger major material changes in how you record transactions. How prepared are you? Do you have a plan mapped out?

He began his career began by re-writing an accounting software suite for a major oil & gas firm. Brian was on the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Accounting Information Systems. He led Accenture’s global Finance & Performance Management practice while also its Worldwide Director of Software Intelligence. Brian has led finance & HR shared services projects for major global firms and was a quality assurance partner on large global HR projects, too.

Brian has won the Software Advice’s 2011 Authority Award – ERP Expert (2011) and the 2014 and 2015 ERP Writer’s Awards. Brian is a frequent guest lecturer at major university MBA programs. He has a BBA (Marketing) and a MBA (Finance) from the University of Texas at Austin.
