Michael has extensive financial management experience in corporate headquarters environments and has worked in the manufacturing, financial services, consumer goods and defense industries. In his current role as Managing Director, Michael advises clients on profitability issues, risk assessments, accounting issues, and post merger integration issues. Recent client success stories have come in the form of greater profitability and transfer of technical knowledge to the client. Prior to Granite, Michael was Chief Audit Executive in the defense and aerospace industry. In this capacity Michael oversaw risk based audits, government compliance reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Michael was also actively involved in advising the Board of Directors on corporate governance matters and was appointed to several Senior Management Committees, i.e. Export Compliance, Review & Disclosure, etc. Michael’s prior experience includes working at the Pepsi Bottling Group and Daimler AG where he accumulated diverse experience in fraud investigation, acquisition, and risk management.
