Deborah Stanton is the Executive Managing Director of CAPS Research. CAPS Research is a non-profit organization advancing the profession of procurement and supply management through outstanding research, benchmarking, and peer-to-peer networks. She leads the organization in achieving their mission to empower supply chain professionals with profound discovery, powerful connection, and clear foresight. CAPS Research is in partnership with Arizona State University and Institute for Supply Management®.

Prior to CAPS Research, Ms. Stanton was the CPO and Group Executive at MasterCard from 2009-2014, leading the Global Supply Chain and Corporate Services organizations. She had responsibility for Global Supply Management, Global Real Estate and Facilities Management, Corporate Travel Services, Corporate Security, Meeting Services and Global Business Process Excellence (six sigma).

Prior to her joining MasterCard she held various leadership positions in supply management with Honeywell, Whirlpool, and Temple-Inland. In each of these roles, she was instrumental in building and transforming advanced supply management organizations.

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of Minnesota and attended Chaminade University of Honolulu, HI as part of her undergraduate studies.
