Finance Officer : Howlett Farms - [2013 - 2016]
Howlett Farms is a 5th generation family farming conglomerate that has been growing since 1880. The company is involved in grain farming, trucking and running a grain elevator.

As the Head of Enterprise Accounting, I establish financial policy and direction while being an active participant in, and driver of, Howlett's overall strategy. I lead all financial administration, business planning, budgeting, and information technology initiatives.

Finance Manager : Once Again Nut Butter Collective - [2011 to 2013]
Once Again Nut Butter is a 100% employee owned (ESOP) food manufacturing company that produces organic nut butters (i.e. peanut butter) in the natural foods industry.

As the finance officer, I was charged with managing and directing the financial structure of the company. I developed and introduced a cash flow model that assisted in effective cash planning in a period of hyper growth. I was also instrumental in demonstrating the importance of formal strategic planning in moving the company forward.

Key Achievements:

★ Key driver in establishing a new vision, mission and strategic goals utilizing a balance scorecard.

Senior Accountant : The Bonadio Group - [2004 to 2011]
The Bonadio Group is the largest regional accounting firm in upstate New York. The firm offers auditing, tax, IT consulting, business advisory, and financial services serving the needs of commercial, small business, public, tax-exempt and individual clients.

As a senior accountant, I was charged with being a team leader on multiple projects across the organization. These projects included financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, agreed upon procedures, pensions, single audits, monthly bookkeeping and individual and corporate tax returns. I spent the majority of my time in the commercial audit department working with manufacturing companies with up to $250 million in sales. I also spent time in the small business advisory unit consulting, processing taxes, and reviewing financial statements.
