• Implemented Inventory Management Module integration plan for migration to Oracle 11i from SAP 6.0. • Designed automation of royalty reporting/payment processes for 30 third-party software vendors, reducing workflow cycles per quarter. • Collaborated to create new financial policies (fixed assets, revenue recognition, currency revaluation) for consolidated business. Policies to be used in quarterly/annual reports. • Provided analytical reviews of opening balance sheet accounts for audit readiness project (fixed assets, inventory), stemming from $280 million Nortel acquisition completed in 1H of 2010.

Corporate Controller : CompassLearning - [2010-02 to 2010-10]
Primary Responsibilities: Accounting operations; financial reporting; cash and P&L forecasting measurement and accuracy; policies, process design and training for the accounting operations; revenue recognition compliance oversight and contract review.

Corporate/Global Controller : Trilogy Software - [2007-10 to 2009-05]
Recruited to reinvent accounting, audit management, decision-support, Board reporting and corporate budgeting functions. Owned internal and external reporting (in adherence with GAAP), internal control monitoring and maintaining audit compliance standards. Negotiated pricing terms with banks, private equity firms (for acquisitions), and vendors. Primary interface with external auditors. Direct Report to CFO.

Corporate Controller : Intermatic, Inc. - [2005-09 to 2007-10]
Recruited to build a world-class accounting team supported by best-in-class technology, and provide overall fiscal leadership for cost accounting, capital planning, treasury services, and corporate accounting functions. Established financial policies and controls based on best practices in credit, inventory management, standard costing, production and sales forecasting and import/export compliance. Educated in Lean Manufacturing principles. Six direct reports. Direct report to CFO.

Finance Director : Avaya, Inc. - [2002-06 to 2005-09]
Recruited to provide business partner support and fiscal management expertise to Senior Vice President, Global Managed and Professional Services ($300M division of a $5B Fortune 500 organization). Responsible for development of annual divisional budget and capital plan, long-term strategic financial plan, monthly performance commentary and presentation to executive management. Implemented divisional compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. SAP environment. Direct report to Senior VP of Services Finance.

Finance Director : APAC Customer Services, inc. - [1999-06 to 2002-06]
Reporting to the CFO of a $400M public company, responsible for a department of three individuals and oversight of price modeling, decision support and financial planning and analysis activities. Primary focus was support of business leadership and their teams to identify cost savings and revenue generation opportunities.
