• In one year, guided the division to profitability by aggressively re-structuring contract pricing and implementing operating efficiencies, turning-around a $(6.9)M loss to a $5.9M profit. • Funded over $50M of new product development by helping to negotiate and close significant R&D contracts with the Transportation Security Administration and OEM partners. • Personally responsible for over $10M of improved profits directly attributable a shift away from previously ineffective contract bid and pricing practices.

Vice-President Finance & Compliance : CELLEXCHANGE, INC - [2005-02 to 2007-04]
Recruited by this global software company to provide leadership in finance, treasury, HR and operations, providing direction and structure to achieve cash flow goals and the longer-term goal of a public offering. • Responsible for domestic and international resource management, corporate governance, auditor interface, internal controls, banking, insurance, human resources and capital management. • Assisted in the preparation and execution of an offshore IPO in India.

Chief Financial Officer, & VP Finance : KVH INDUSTRIES, INC. - [1988-04 to 2003-10]
- Recruited by this early-stage, venture backed company to provide leadership in finance, strategic planning, resource management, banking, insurance,general operations and facility management. As key non-founder executive, brought a collegial approach to management, providing financial insights and strengthening the business process. • Provided the financial leadership that transformed KVH from a $3.5M privately held venture capital owned company to a publicly traded corporation, recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the best-managed small companies in the US. • Established a financial process that allowed the CEO to make well-informed judgments to strategically allocate the company’s limited resources to achieve near-term operating and cash flow goals, while positioning the company for long-term growth.
