Booking Short Term Revenue

Depending on the term and business model. if you are dealing with contracts that are month to month and have high rates of churn, then I would use MMR or CMRR as my key metric vs a booking or arr metric. if churn is low, i would consider an arr metric manage any customer drops as part of my churn calculation.
