Customer Renewal Options & Revenue Recognition

 

"How would you recognize a booking that has an Option to renew - ie not guaranteed? "

I would exclude from booking and manage the renewal as a separate metric. You may use renewals in determining customer life time value (CLTV) if the business model supports this metric.
