Is the end of service calculation the job of the accountant or the HR? (since it's similar to the payroll prepared by the HR)

To be clear it's not an end of service indemnity. In our country, companies do not pay EOS indemnity for leaving employees. The End of service includes only the cumulative salaries and any other expenses due to the employee that are not paid yet if any, the annual leaves, the salary of the notice period, the transportation allowance for the notice period...

In my experience, HR has been the one to calculate these amounts. They, not Finance, are most familiar with any employment agreements, laws related to such payouts, etc.
