Triplepoint: Dean Riskas (650) 233-2103 and driskasattriplepointcapital [dot] com. Triplepoint is extremely aggressive on pricing and Dean is a great guy. I did a couple of venture debt and asset-backed deals with them and was very happy. They may be heavy on blanket lien and want warrant coverage.

Comerica: Alan Jepsen (408) 451-8571 ajepsenatcomerica [dot] com. Have gotten bids from them. Good to work with but more interested in getting your commercial banking biz at the same time. He will refer you out if they are not your cup of tea.

Silicon Valley Bank: Mark Lau (925) 737-6030 mlauatsvb [dot] com Like Triplepoint above, I have done a number of deals with SVB, straight banking, venture debt and asset-based debt. Mark is a good guy and they are a very strong, focused bank.

Winthrop Capital: John Zimmerman - know him by reputation. They focus on larger, later stage companies and asset-secured deals w/o warrants.

Others you may want to include if you are putting out an RFQ are: Hercules, Bridge Bank, NFS (leasing) and Western Technology. Some do venture-focused lending, others are straight asset-backed players. I'm sure there are more as well...

The following may be more appropriate for earlier stage companies but does equipment only deals for mission critical equipment in companies.

Hope that helps.
