Best Outside Source of Advice on Designing an Equity Incentive Plan for an LLC

We are an LLC with a few founding members and want to implement a broader equity-linked incentive plan for employees. I know there are a few ways to go. What type of advisor/consultant would you call on to help management crystallize its objectives, tax sensitivities, ease of implementation, etc.and then advise the firm on which method to use? I know a law firm will draft the docs, but I'm not sure if they are also the best source of this type of advice.

A startup law firm (Cooley, etc) has people who have looked at this many times; that's my typical go-to. I know a few consulting CFOs who I've asked for input; similarly I've been brought in for similar purposes. Finally, Deloitte, etc, also have practices around this topic, and we've brought them in for especially interesting problems.
