Hyperion Consolidation - Is it possible to hold equity at historical USD values with base entities in non-USD currencies

We have a hyperion system that was originally used for UK GAAP which we got in a merger. They always let their equity accounts fluctuate with the current fx rates which makes the consolidation eliminations a nightmare. I am new to using hyperion and am wondering if it is possible to keep the equity accounts at a constant USD value? thanks so much for your help!

Yes, you can if you have USD override accounts. We had a 1998 version which had this and we now have Hyperion Enterprise version 11.1.2.4 and we incorporated USD override accounts in this also. Do you still have support for your new hyperion? If so, you may wish to check with your consultants about this.
