I didn't mention my 2 months job on my resume when I applied for another one

josh scott's Profile

I'm a recent graduate student in accounting, I have a done an internship while I was in school. I thought that the internship would help me out finding job easily in the job market. However, after too many tries and desperately wanted something in my field I ended up working as a housekeeper in one of most reputable firm in the city, hoping to get promoted and work in my field (accounting/finance). After 6 months probation period I started applying for internal jobs without a success! Denial from all of them even though that I am over qualified for that particular job. I figured that is it not about what you know, it's about who do you know. Now, I've got an interview for the job that I was dreaming of and I don't know if I should mention my current job status to the question: "what are you currently doing".
Any advice or suggestion will be appreciate. Thank you :)
