Leadership Training

Hello everyone.
I have been invited by Headquarter to an internal leadership training or something like this.. The aim is to discover my strengths, weaknesses and some personal traits which need to be improved so that I can become a better manager in the future. The training details are secret and I guess there will be some outdoor activities, case studites, group excercises so on. Is there anyone who participated that kind of internal trainings in any multinotal companies? I would prepare well if I knew the format or general frame at least. It seems that this training will be a milestone in my career here.
Thanks!

If there is any need for preparation, the organizers (HR or third party) will advice you. The usual theme is, bring yourself, an open mind, and enthusiasm to learn.

I would do some self-examination beforehand and think about my strengths and weaknesses. Perhaps you could ask others their opinion as well, as most of the time I've found others have a different view of myself than I do.
I'd love to hear other's opinions about this type of training. I have found it more harmful than good. It is my belief that we should use our strengths and run with them instead of being bogged down trying to improve weaknesses. We can learn to manage weaknesses instead and then use our unique abilities to do things no one else can.
