Netsuite vs SalesForce CRM

NetSuite vs SalesForce

What are the main differences, especially in:

- Creating estimates/quotes

- Dashboard flexibility

- Report creation.

- Ease of integration with accounting.

- Ease of customization.

We're in the consulting business and need something much better than our DIY CRM implementation using Google Docs.

1st a question. How large is your organization? Unless you are enterprise level, neither are suitable for you. The prices are high and the implementation and customization need to be done by either an in-house specialist or by a 3rd-party vendor.

Your best alternative is Workbooks.com. It was designed by a team who lived through years of trying to make NetSuite and SalesForce work in the Small to Medium business (250 people and less) world.

Workbooks.com's "The Automated Company" approach allows Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, Finance and Management to access the same data and work in concert instead of in silos of information. Unlike the others, you can get customization and integration assistance directly from Workbooks.com.

By the way, those Google Docs you have? Workbooks.com integrates with them at no extra charge.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the idea. I'm definitely going to check it out.

We're about 100 people, including staff consultants, independent/freelance consultants and admin.

Roughly, I would say NetSuite will cost you about half as much as SalesForce. NetSuite is fully integrated into its accounting/ERP system from the start, whereas, SalesForce is stand alone and requires various integration solutions with accounting/ERP systems. Both have flexible reporting and ease of customization (...SalesForce is a little easier). The above is per my (limited to two companies each using one or the other) experience.
