Accounting Package for Non-Profit

Non-Profit Accounting SoftwareI am working with a non-profit organization that needs assistance implementing an account system that will integrate seamlessly with on-line credit card processing services. Their existing system is quite old and has no ability to accept on-line payment processing information (they manually re-enter this information).

QuickBooks Enterprise edition for non-profits. That's what we use. However, they will have to pay a "gateway" provider to make the link between their online website and credit card processor.

Are credit cards the only make or break on the accounting system or are there other issues that may be on handled better than the integrated system such as memberships. News collection sales of merchandise etc.

Donald, Intacct for Non-profits is a solution we implemented late last year and launched in January of this year. It is robust enough to handle all features of a traditional accounting system and has the added benefit of being cloud-based. Further it integrates well with multiple system and add-on vendors, whether that be your travel & expense platform to your credit card processing platform.

XERO is another system you might want to take a look at, as well.
