Q&A Forum

Paying a distributor.

I have a skin care line. Store is online, sell retail and to Aesthesticians currently. I am branching out to have distributors sell to salons, spas, medical doctors. Right now all that purchase the product orders online. Not sure what is the best wey to set up the ordering for the new customers so that it connects distributor & customer. Ideas?

It sounds like you may have needs around:
-business model definition
-commercial terms with distributors vs direct
-technology/systems and processes to help you manage order intake and fulfillment
-taxation issues-state nexus etc.

Are you a manufacturer or do you have a contract manufacturer make for you, so that you are really a prime distributor.

Feel free to message me for an initial discussion.

I work for a distributor, and what the manufacturers do for us is to direct potential buyers on their webpage to a page that shows them where the local distributor is located and gives their contact info.
