Rev Rec tool

I am looking for a simple Rev Rec to assist our accounting team with their Rev Rec models. Our contracts are multi-element unit price contracts with variable # units and variable time periods. Presently we down load actual for historical periods into a spreadsheet and then project future activity to arrive at a a total contract view. Our billings are bundled and typical invoiced well ahead of when we complete our performance obligation so our Rev Rec models need to solve for the 'dollar value of deferred revenue'. Our future projection is supported by our Ops and Customer Service team who have the best insight into the timing and magnitude of future activities. We have SAP as our ERP system but i am just looking for a simple off line tool that our accounting team can deploy and maintain without the need to rely on our SAP team to deliver same (as that would be a forever or perhaps never timeline) Any recommendations for simple user-owner tool?

I was also looking for a bolt on rev rec tool for our software subscription business but found those were almost as expensive as a new accounting system. In the end, we scrapped our system and bought FinancialForce since it had rev rec. We are also doing rev rec in spreadsheets and had no visibility whatsoever into our largest revenue line.
