If I did not contribute to a Roth Ira in 2019 but made over 6k net and also will make over 6k net this year could I write a 12k check to put into my Ira this week since taxes got pushed back to July 15th? This way half would be for 2019 and half for 2020.
Roth IRA contributions
Yes, you can, provided that your income is "earned income" (not investment income). Should you be 50 years or older, the max contribution for each year is $ 7K.
