Standalone inventory module to plug into Oracle ERP Cloud

Michael Rand's Profile

We've purchased Oracle Financials Cloud and Purchasing Cloud, neither of which have inventory capabilities. I'm looking for very a basic inventory platform to use to track my raw materials (mainly bags of fertilizer) and shipments (tomatoes). Any recommendations? FOSS preferred but not required. My initial thoughts are OpenERP/Odoo might work, but I'm open to suggestions. Would like it to be multi-entity / multi-currency. Thanks.

The more pressing question is....If Inventory Management is a major part of your requirement, why choose a software without one?

You should ask your vendor as they will have recommendations that will integrate with Oracle.

It's not a major part of the requirement; we're tracking ~20 different raw material SKUs and 1 finished good SKU. That could easily be done in a spreadsheet. Paying tens of thousands of dollars for a software module to track less than that of inventory doesn't make much sense. We also have plenty of other material requirements that weren't met by any of the other vendors without significant workarounds.
