Tickmarks in QuickBooks

In reviewing our Accounts Payable, I use tickmarks on the invoices to make sure they are entered properly into QuickBooks (date, invoice number, vendor, due date, amount, etc.) and then sign and initial the invoice to show I reviewed it for accuracy. Is there a way to use a tickmark or stamp in QuickBooks to show that I have reviewed the invoice? I called Intuit, and they said there is no option for our version (Enterprise 12.0) and give a "product suggestion." The only other thing I can think of is making a note in the memo section putting my initials and the date I reviewed the invoice. Has anyone else run into a similar situation? If so, what did you do?
