Vacation time

I start working at Walmart 2/23/16. I transferred on 6/6/16. My employee id number stayed the same my pto and benefits rolled over. However upon reaching my 2/23/17 anniversary I used my pto time, 2/24/17 I called out from work and eventually had to quit due to my LOA not being approved. I quit on 4/20/17. At first they were saying that my anniversary sate is 6/6/17 because I transferred, then theyare saying that I have to be employed there as of my anniversary date and now they are saying it's not due because I didn't return to work.

They are now saying that I didn't get the vacation time because I did not return back to work. Is this fair?

I would start by checking your employee handbook (you should have gotten a copy when you started work). it will usually state the guidelines. If that doesn't clarify the situation, I would ask for a letter from them stating why you didn't receive what you were expecting and then take it to an attorney who specializes in labor law to see what your rights are.
