Hi Guys/! I am trying to research and compare the latest/greatest FP&A Solution for a 6 year-old manufacturing company with projected sales of $100M+ in 2018. Currently, modeling is conducted in Excel. ERP + Planning is conducted in NetSuite + Adaptive Planning. Unfortunately, NS+AP runs too slow provided it's on the cloud and is limited/rigid in terms of what we need. Hoping for a FP&A + ERP seamless solution. What would you recommend? And if you know the estimated budget and implementation timeframe, please do tell?! SAP S/4 Finance was suggested due to its integrated/seamless tool-stack that incorporates FP&A+BI+ERP (aka "BPC/BI/FI"), which runs real-time data powered by HANA. Currently we do have a disparate network of varying data-sources, therefore, a system that can do data gymnastics (BI/BW/ETL + Visuals + OLAP+ real-time /Analytics) and work in-parity with FP&A requirements is ideal. MS SQL/PBI/PP/Excel stack was also suggested for being the most inexpensive and practical solution, but I am not sure if MS ERP + MS BI stack is integrated/seamless enough? I am clueless about Hyperion + ORACLE or Cognos so please provide your feedback. After experiencing NS/AP, an integrated/seamless solution is preferred. Looking for the FP&A+BI setup first to deal with the disparate network problem, then move into replacing the ERP. Preferably, an end-to-end system that is highly configurable, scalable and adaptive to workflow changes. Hiring BA advisors for BPI/Gap/Mapping would be a separate initiative; and not connected or biased to FP&A+ERP search. I am indebted, thank you in advance !! AS

What is the best FP&A software solution in 2017?

Greetings. I have been implementing Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions for Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, and Analytics throughout North America and in Europe for the last 18 years. I have worked with SAP-BPC, Oracle-Hyperion, IBM-Cognos-TM1, and many smaller vendors. I am excited to tell you that the number one CPM application in Europe is now available in North America! Prevero is number one in customer satisfaction and in implementation support; this speaks directly to your problem of dissatisfaction with your current product. The time frame for implementation for prevero is generally less than most of the other applications available. An estimate would depend upon the use case. Take a look at the web site: www.prevero.com. You will be impressed with the software and its capabilities.

Stephen Nelson
