Q&A Forum

What resources/outlets/experts are you following or listening to for gauging the short-term and long-term economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic?

I find that many experts have divergent views about how long our economy is going to be contracting and when it will recover. Are you finding any reliable information out there?

I'm with you. Future forecasts are tricky and I've seen a wide variety of different opinions. I think what makes it tough is all the state Governors are treating things differently. I did see some great data today produced by The Straw Group focused on payment volume by industry. Broke out industries who have benefited, and industries who have been harmed, with actual real data based on merchants. Happy to see if I can share if you are interested in connecting offline.
