I have used in the past a per diem rate pegged to the GSA schedule.

We see a range of policies from our customers with these being roughly the most common for travel meals (not to be confused with customer meals/entertainment):
- $75 per day with details/receipts required
- $15 breakfast, $20 lunch, $40 dinner
- $50 to $75 per diem with no info required
- Employee choice of $50 Per Diem (no receipts) or $75 daily Meal Allowance with receipts
